ONE Learning – Kids

Description

We are a diverse (UK, Romania & India) and purpose-driven team of 5 (3 Co-founders) with complimentary skills (business development, technology, marketing, education) relentless about innovating in the early childhood education sector.

Our mission is to be the go-to playful learning partner for parents and kids. We are passionate about supporting new parents by accessing thousands of engaging, off-screen, practical and easy to do activities that help their kids (ages 3-8) develop the essential skills for school and especially life (e.g.: social-emotional intelligence, creativity, adaptability, growth mindset, cognitive, physical, language skill) via an app that personalises their experience.

Since January 2023, we've been developing the MVP, which has been co-designed with parents, kids, teachers, and early years professionals. We will release the app end of June 2023.

In the meantime, we've worked on building our social media presence and reached over 8.3k followers on Facebook, 6,403 followers on Instagram, 7,064 followers on TikTok and over 1,000+ parents on the waiting list.

In addition, we've also secured a strategic partnership with University College Birmingham. We are working with the faculty and students to create inclusive and equitable quality content for the app - in line with UN Sustinable Development Goals 4: Quality Education. Target 4.2 - By 2030, ensure that all girls and boys have access to quality early childhood development, care and pre-primary education so that they are ready for primary education.

In collaboration with University College Birmingham, we are developing the impact evaluation research together - to test and measure the impact (family wellbeing, children's developmental stages & milestones, parental engagement).

We have a detailed roadmap and go-to-market strategy and looking forward to always connect with impact and value driven experts and investors that want to leave a legacy and positive change in society.

What happens in our early childhood helps to create the foundations for our future learning, health, behaviour and happiness. Currently, more than 175 million children (around half of pre-primary-age children globally) - are not enrolled in pre-primary education, missing a critical investment opportunity and suffering deep inequalities from the start (UNICEF, 2019).
