About
My background is in education and entrepreneurship. I have been in this space for the last 10 years in which I've studied a diverse number of fields ranging from developmental psychology to sales & marking. The unique combination of skills and experience that I've gained allows me to help people understand their specific type of intelligence and learning needs so that they can basically learn anything. Through our leadership coaching, I help founders and CEO's understand themselves better so that they can become better leaders who create great opportunities for their teams.
Skills
My background in both children and adult education has helped me to develop a keen understanding of people - how they learn, what keeps them motivated and how to communicate effectively. I consider myself an expert at building and managing teams because I simply love creating opportunities for people that specifically bring out the absolute best in them.
Interests
My main interests can all fall within the three areas of entrepreneurship, education and
holistic health & fitness.
Experience
I started mt first teaching business when I was 19 years old - I did private tutoring for middle-high income families. Then when I started my degree, I opened my own private school. The highlight of my entrepreneurship career though is when I founded T. Garcia Education (TGE) - an online tutoring company in August 2020 during the pandemic. TGE employed over 25 educators and we had over 100 students from different islands in the Caribbean, US and even Canada. It was TGE that got me a partial scholarship to the Draper Hero Training Program in Summer 2022.
