This Privacy Policy explains what information of yours will be collected by us when you use the Binnno Platform, how the information will be used, and how you can control the collection, correction, and/or deletion of data. This Privacy Policy applies to our Service, including www.binnno.com and its sub-domains, also referred to as “Platform” or “Website”. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information we collect by other means (including offline) or from other sources. Capitalized terms that are not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meaning given them in our Terms of Service.

California law may provide you with additional rights regarding our use of your personal information.

Information We Collect

User-Provided Information: You provide us information about yourself, such as your name, e-mail address, and other personally identifiable information (all referred to as “Personal Information”) if you register for a user account with the Service (including by “following,” “liking,” adding the Binnno application, linking your account to the Binnno service, etc., on a third-party website or network). If you correspond with us by e-mail, we may retain the content of your e-mail messages, your e-mail address and our responses. We may also keep any messages you send through the Service. You may provide us information in User Content, such as your public profile and comments that you post to the Service.

Social Network and Platform Integration. The Platform may be integrated with social media networks and other platforms (e.g., Facebook and LinkedIn) whereby information may be shared between us and those platforms. For instance, if you interact with our Platform through a social media feature such as a plug-in, you may be granting us on-going access to certain information from that social media account. If you do not want a social media platform to collect or share information about you, please review the applicable social media property’s privacy policy and privacy settings before using such features on our Platform.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

How We Use Your Information

You also acknowledge that we may send you notifications of activity on the Platform to the e-mail address you give us by any applicable privacy settings. You can always manage your options in the dedicated account area for notifications and messages. Opting out may prevent you from receiving e-mail messages from other users regarding your offer. You may not opt-out of platform-related e-mails.

Following termination or deactivation of your User account, we may retain your profile information and User Content for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archival, contract performance and enforcement, or audit purposes but for no longer than is necessary and only where the information is accurate and relevant for our use. Furthermore, we may retain and continue to use indefinitely all data (including User Content) contained in your communications to other Users or posted to public or semi-public areas of the Service after termination or deactivation of your User account.

If you choose to use our invitation service to invite a friend to the Platform, we will ask you for that person’s e-mail address and automatically send an e-mail invitation. We store this information to send this e-mail, register your friend if your invitation is accepted, and track our invitation service’s success. Your friend may contact us to request that we remove this information from our database at [email protected].

We may use certain information about you and your User Content internally for purposes such as analyzing how the Platform is used, diagnosing Service or technical problems, maintaining security, and personalizing content.

How We Share Your Information

Personal Information. We will not rent or sell your Personal Information to others. We may share your Personal Information with third parties (such as hosting providers, payment processors, database providers, customer support providers, and our related, subsidiary, and affiliate companies) to provide the platform services to you. If we do this, such third parties will be contractually bound to safeguard your Personal Information. We may store Personal Information in locations outside of our direct control (for instance, on servers or databases co-located with hosting providers) based on an agreement to safeguard your information.

As we develop our business, we may buy or sell assets or business offerings. Customer, e-mail, and visitor information are generally transferred business assets in these types of transactions. Any Personal Information or content that you voluntarily disclose for posting to the Service, such as content that you “liked”, your first and last name or your username, or placed into a collection and User Content, becomes available to the public (and may be searched by search engines), whether or not you are signed in to your account. If you remove information that you posted to the Platform, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages of the Service, or if other Users have copied or saved that information.

Suppose you are a buyer who purchases a license to an asset. In that case, the seller will have access to limited purchase information, namely, the username you selected (which is publicly visible on the Platform) along with the asset you purchased and the date you purchased it (“Purchase Information”); the Shop Owner will also have access to any other information you choose to make publicly available on the Platform if any (through your Binnno. public profile page), but will not have access to any credit card information or e-mail address.

We may run contests, special offers, or other events or activities (“Events”) on the Platform together with a third-party partner from time to time. If you provide information to such third parties, you acknowledge they may use it for that Event and any other use that you approve. We cannot control third-parties use of your information. If you do not want your data to be collected by or shared with a third party, you can choose not to participate in these events.

Except as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy, we will not disclose Personal Information to any third party unless required to do so by law or subpoena or if we believe that such action is necessary to:

(a) conform to the law, comply with legal process served on us or our affiliates, or investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities;

(b) to enforce our Terms of Service, take precautions against liability, to investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations, to assist government enforcement agencies, or to protect the security or integrity of our Site;

Although we do not serve third-party advertising on our Site, we work with third parties to target advertising for our Site on the third-party websites. Your privacy settings may also be affected by changes to the functionality of Binnno distributors, such as social networks. We are not responsible for the functionality or security measures of any third party.

To protect your privacy and security, we take reasonable steps (such as requesting a unique password) to verify your identity before granting you access to your account. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your unique password and account information, and for controlling access to your e-mail communications fromBinnno platform, at all times.

Compromise of Personal Information

Suppose Personal Information is compromised as a result of a breach of security. In that case, we will promptly notify those persons whose Personal Information has been compromised, in accordance with the notification procedures outlined in this Privacy Policy, or as otherwise required by applicable law.

At this time, there is no consensus among industry participants about the meaning of “do not track” in this context.
